Hutchinson Mountain

Recognized Firewise Community/USA

The community of Hutchinson Mountain (Independence County) became a FireWise community in December of 2009. With a population of approximately 800 residents, Hutchinson Mountain is served by the Southside Fire Department under Fire Chief Jeremy Loggins. This community was one of six certified by the Southside Fire Department near Batesville, Arkansas.
