Recognized Firewise Community/USA

Low Gap (Newton County) became a FireWise Community in December of 2009. Served by the
Mt. Sherman Volunteer Fire Department and Fire Chief Mike Dillon, this rural North Arkansas community
is home to approximately 70 residents.
