The home of Grady Spann was selected the Arkansas FireWise Home of the Month for February 2008. The home is located at 1137 Park Avenue in the Ozark Folk Center State Park. The home was nominated by David Samuel, Arkansas FireWise Coordinator, following a visit to Stone County.

The non-flammable construction materials of brick and composition shingles, as well as a maintained space around the entire home, make the Spann's property a model Stone County home.

Grady Spann is General manager at the Ozark Folk Center State Park.
