A non-wood roof, non-combustible siding and brick construction keep the Gibbons' home safe from wildfire. The home's address is well-marked at the driveway and displayed on the mailbox opposite the entrance along the state highway. Woods on the south and west side of the house are more than 100 feet away, provide adequate defensible space from wildfire. |
