The very first thing you notice about the Herrington home is the broad expanse of defensible space in the front yard. The house is visible from the street, and a wide driveway provides emergency vehicles access to the house and its outbuildings. "Lean, clean and green" describes the lawn between deciduous trees, which are a more Firewise choice than evergreens. |
