Mount Magazine State Park

Arkansas State Parks and Museums have made commitments to become Firewise in an effort to prevent another major wildfire like the one on Petit Jean Mountain the summer of 2000. Mount Magazine State Park has taken a number of steps to make structures within the park boundaries are Firewise, and has also created a wildfire protection plan.
