FireWise Mitigation Services and Equipment List

Here is a list of approved FireWise equipment and services which can be purchased with federal mitigation grants administered by the Arkansas Forestry Commission and the Arkansas FireWise Team. Equipment rental (dozers, brush hogs, etc.) to construct fire breaks.

Prescribe burning contracts (construct fire lines, prepare burning plan and execution of projects) to reduce fuel loading around residences.

Tree service contracts (bucket truck, chipper, chain saw operators) for removal, thinning and pruning of trees to extend defensive space.
