The June 2007 Arkansas FireWise Home of the Month belongs to Jack and Tina Stringer of Mount Holly in Union County. The home was nominated by Chris Ludwig, Union County Ranger.

The home is surrounded on all sides by an immense defensible space that includes well-kept flowerbeds, a concrete pathway around the home, and a wide gravel driveway.

David Samuel, Arkansas FireWise Coordinator, took numerous photos of the Stringer home prior to a presentation and risk assessment training at the Mount Holly Volunteer Fire Department.
