Oden

Recognized Firewise Community/USA

The community of Oden became a Firewise Community/USA in December 2003. On Oct. 23, 2007, Oden was recognized for its fifth year of Firewise Community/USa participation during a luncheon and recognition ceremony held in the banquet hall of Mount Magazine State Park Lodge. Accepting a plaque presented by Arkansas Governor Mike Beebe were Horace Lawrence, Latresa Lawrence, Jeannette Fryar and Tommy Fryar.
