Recognized Firewise Community/USA

Pleasant Plains became a recognized Firewise Community/USA on Oct. 4, 2007. A luncheon and recognition ceremony was held Oct. 23, 2007, in the banquet hall of Mount Magazine State Park Lodge. Accepting a plaque presented by Arkansas Governor Mike Beebe were Pleasant Plains Mayor Rick Siler and Pleasant Plains Fire Chief Stacey Caplener. Also pictured are AFC White County Ranger II Lowell Altom and White County Judge Michael Lincoln.

Pleasant Plains Firewise board members are Stacey Caplener, Rick Siler, Ed Wilson, Connie Blevins, Josh Radcliff, Bobby Beel, Clint Siler, Danny Crumley and Lowell Altom.
