Recognized Firewise Community/USA

The community of Story became a Firewise Community/USA in December 2003. On Oct. 23, 2007, Story was recognized for its fifth year of Firewise Communities/USA participation during a luncheon and recognition ceremony held in the banquet hall of Mount Magazine State Park Lodge. Accepting a plaque presented by Governor Mike Beebe were Dale Morris and Earl Gene White.
